Welcome to a facilitated peer experience designed for athletes grappling with the challenges of navigating a game, season, or career limiting injury.
The most effective support often comes from those who have experienced similar circumstances.

Time: 7:00pm CST - 7:50pm CST
Location: Zoom Link provided upon registration
Registration: Open to any injured athlete high school level and up.
Suggested Preparation: Notebook, water, open-mind, compassionate heart and willingness to participate
Join Each Session With…..
Active Participation: Be fully present and engaged during discussions and activities. Share your insights, experiences, and perspectives to contribute to the group's collective learning.
Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality within the group. What is shared during discussions should remain within the group to build trust and create a safe space for open dialogue.
Respect for Others: Practice active listening, give your full attention when others are speaking, and refrain from interrupting. Respect differing opinions and acknowledge the value in diverse perspectives.
Constructive Feedback: Offer and receive feedback in a respectful and constructive manner. Focus on providing solutions, not just pointing out problems. Be open to learning from the feedback you receive.
Commitment to Growth: Approach the experience with a growth mindset, open to new ideas and learning from both successes and failures. Take responsibility for your own development and actively seek opportunities to improve.
Punctuality and Preparation: Be on time for meetings and come prepared with any pre-assigned materials or thoughts to discuss. Your preparation enhances the experience for everyone.
Accountability: Hold yourself accountable for following through on any commitments or actions you agree to take during the session. Be honest about your progress and challenges.
Positive Attitude: Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach to discussions. Support your peers in their development and be encouraging, even when discussing difficult topics.
Equity in Participation: Ensure that everyone has an opportunity to contribute. Be mindful of how much time you take to speak and make space for quieter members to share their thoughts.
Follow-Up and Reflection: After each session, take time to reflect on what was discussed and how it applies to your personal or professional growth. Be prepared to share your reflections in future sessions.
